We designed, developed and now offer a unique, inexpensive, portable, highly sensitive and accurate transvaginal fetal Doppler that is able to detect a fetal heart tone earlier than any other hand-held fetal Doppler device. The EchoHeart transvaginal probe (TVP) is an exchangeable attachment to a common hand-held abdominal fetal Doppler and is used by OB/GYN Physicians, Midwives, Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare providers. With close proximity to the uterus, clinicians find the EchoHeart TVP best used when traditional abdominal detection is delayed, as is the case with patients that are obese or have a retroverted uterus.
